WITS & BETS COMPANION
Never run out
of cards again.
The unofficial companion for Wits & Wagers.
You have played the box. You know the cards. Keep the board, the chips and the betting, and let your phone deal the questions instead. Every answer is still a number, and there are always more.
No cards to lose. No cards to sort. No pile to put back in the wrong order at midnight.
Download on the App StoreFree, with optional expansion packs. iPhone and iPad, iOS 16.4 or later.
Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed from North Star Games. Wits & Wagers is their trademark. This is an independent question deck made to be played alongside it.
How a round plays
The same round you already know. The app only replaces the deck.

Draw
Tap the deck and read the question out loud. The number under the deck is how many are left, and the pile beside it is what you have already played.

Guess
Everyone writes a number. Nobody knows it, so everybody has to reason. The betting happens exactly as it always did, on your table, with your chips.

Reveal
Reveal the answer. It arrives with a short fact worth knowing, then the card goes to the discard pile and cannot come back this round.
No cards. No cleanup.
Everything that makes a deck of cards a chore, handled by the thing already in your pocket.
The deck never runs dry
New packs arrive in the app with no update to install. Buy one and its questions are in play immediately, permanently, on every device signed in to your Apple Account.
Nothing to put back
A question you have played cannot turn up again until you shuffle, and shuffling is one tap. Nobody sorts a pile at the end of the night, and nobody argues about who was supposed to.
It works with no signal
Every pack you own lives on the device. Cabins, planes, pub basements, the back of a car. Only buying a new pack needs a connection.
Questions nobody knows
Every card is checked against one rule: if someone at the table simply knows the number, it makes a dull round. The good ones you reason toward and nobody can recall.
Tune it to your table
Switch packs on and off between rounds without losing them. Keep a pack for the grown-ups and leave it off when the kids are playing.
Child Friendly keeps questions about drink and drugs out of the deck. Units asks in metric or imperial, changing the question as well as the answer, so everyone writes the unit it pays out in.
And if your table has had enough of guessing years, switch years off. Any answer type can sit out.

The packs, for now
The free Core deck is a full night on its own. These add to it, and this is only the list as it stands today. More are being written, and they appear in the app without an update.
